Cultivating the Power of Speech

  • Allen County Public Library - Globe room 900 Library Plaza Fort Wayne, IN 46802 Fort Wayne, IN (map)

The power of our words, and thus our speech, influences every aspect of our lives. Cultivating our speech requires us to continually develop honesty, integrity and meaning in all that we say and resolve to do. Speech is a skillful technique and lens affecting all of our relationships, actions and our spiritual power. Through proper cultivation of this karmic door, we can strengthen our resolve and the power of our commitments.

This talk will discuss the traditional Dharma teachings on speech, including cultivating beneficial speech and refraining from harmful speech. When practiced correctly, these simple acts can lead to great attainment and accomplishment as well as more harmony in our day to day lives.

Please join us, beginners and experienced practitioners alike, in receiving this precious teaching from a traditional practicing yogi who upholds a living lineage directly connected to the Buddha. All are welcome!
