Lanna and Thai Traditional Medicine (LTTM) is offered for and by practitioners outside of Thailand striving to uphold traditional medical practices.
Guided by the Lanna Traditional Doctor's Society—a group of traditional doctors who practice throughout Thailand, holding and transmitting a body of knowledge, made available only through experienced practitioners maintaining textual and oral traditions—the work of LTTM offers resources from and connection to this living medical tradition in the hopes of fostering deeper understanding of lineage-based traditions and support for engaged practitioners.
Resources range from media and book recommendations, to translated information forming the basis of medical knowledge, to sharing of personal experiences and practices as well as special holidays and yearly causative factor updates. As a living resource from a living tradition, LTTM will continue to grow as it takes on additional projects, such as active textual preservation and various opportunities for practitioner learning.

Six Season Causative Factors updates
On the full moon of each lunar month in the Thai calendar, LTTM shares the update of how the seasons causative factors of disease are shifting. This knowledge is essential to understanding the disease process in order to diagnose and treat medical conditions in traditional Thai medicine.
